9800 pro 128 mb and ati silencer 2

it seems like it wont fit unless i get rid of a screw, did i get the wrong one?
ati radeon 9800 pro 128mb/256bit
ati silencer 2
anyone else have these?

According to what is written on the box, ATI silencer 2 is for 9600 pro and XT.

ATI silencer 3 is for 9800 (256MB).

ATI silencer 1 is for 9800 pro 128MB.

The way I see it, ATI silencer 1 is for the card you have. It may not cool the RAM though.

i just was checking that out, looks like the ati silencer 1 is what i needed. well this ati silencer 2 is about to get its sinks chopped off and modded to fit.

Why don't you return it and get the 1?
If you mod it and later find out that it is not good, you will not be able to return it!

well it wasnt that much and i didnt want to wait because i have an awesome 9800 pro, i hit 444 core artifact free on the stock cooler. so i wanted to see what i could get. well i did it and i saw.

472 Core!!!
