9800 Non Pro !@#$ Review

I want to know about this card. I want to get the specs on what kind of ram it uses. I want clock speeds. I want to know of the differences from the 9800 pro. I want to know how it performs against everything else on the market. I want to know where to buy it for less than $299.

I want to know it's mother's maiden name, dammit. 😉

There has to be someone who owns it, or at least someone who has found a review.....

Id like to help but I have a 9800pro...which actually, ATI has right now 🙁

rickin does, as I now know. 🙂 Search for his posts, but I don't think he's had time to use it much, IIRC. You can buy them at Best Buy for $300; I saw one at a nearby store yesterday, next to their $80 clearance 64MB 9000P's.

It should perform just like a lower-clocked 9800 Pro. Heck, I remember when the 9800 Pro debuted, many reviews downclocked the 9800P to what they assumed (correctly, I think) 9800 levels would be (namely, the same speed as a 9700 Pro), so there are plenty of benches if you want them.

As for OCability, you'll have to wait for more people to own and review the card first. Shouldn't be long now.
