9800 gx2 to what..

I currently have a 9800 gx2, Q6600, and 500 Corsair Power Supply. I am totally fine with my processor but my graphics card needs an upgrade. I am thinking of getting the 5770 but will it run with my power supply. Anyways what do you guys suggest. Budget is 200 or less and be used for gaming. Thanks.

You could run a 5870 with power to spare with that power supply if it's actually a good PSU. I didn't know Asus made power supplies. Oh and make sure you overclock that Q6600.

Well I was just saying that you could even run that card on that PSU so the 5770 is no problem at all.

Thanks, what do you recommend, I mean get the 5770 now, or wait. Is there a better card coming around the corner that will lower the prices or just buy it now. It seems like the 9800 gx2 sells for alot on ebay, like 150-200. Thanks.

The 5770 isn't a whole lot faster than a single 8800gt (20-30%?) so you'd be really downgrading if you got it.

I'd only settle for a 5850/5870 if I was upgrading from a 9800gx2.
