9800 gx2 or wait for 9800 gtx or 3870 x2

From what i read on this forum and on net 9800 GTX is a fast 8800 GTX and 8800 GTX is fast 8800 GTS 512mb (Or is it not). 3870 x2 is ok never used a ATI card ever what is your say in this.

We don't know how a 9800GTX or a 9800GX2 will perform. So, we can't answer your question(s).

Based on the logic that a 9800X2 is 2 8800 GTs put together, it should be able to beat the 3870X2, however if the drivers are crap again 3870X2 might scale better, like keys says, it's best to wait till we get some solid releases to bench.

3dmark really doesn't say shit about in game performance, and I'd wait till we see a game review like others have said.
