9800 GX2 never detected on boot-up

Just received an evga 9800gx2 SSC, plugged it in and received a blank screen. Previous video card worked fine (x1800).
evga suggested RMA'ing it, so I did.

Has anyone else seen this?

Yep, bought a XFX worked great for 2 days then nothing.
Green led's showed the card was getting power, but no blue led for video.
Fan ran @ 100%
Just died.

Wow perhaps the end of life is coming to fruition - literally. 😉

I wonder how sensitive these are to out of spec PCI-E.

My board was running 105mhz on the pci-e settings.
My 8800GTX never had any problems.
 
Yeah 105 should be no problem. I actually pushed up to 115 before my Areca RAID card started throwing memory errors. 110 was fine, however.
 
I Have the same problem but i do not have the blue led on at all if u know what that means can u give me some info to clarify my situation
