So I've been using this for a few days now. It's doing really well and I've been very impressed with it.

The only thing I'm not sure about is its memory clock. According to its specifications, its memory operates at 2300 MHz.

I've been monitoring the card's various frequencies with RivaTuner, and noticed that it is always locked at 1150 MHz, effectively half that of what it says it operates at. Stats via RivaTuner.

First I assumed that that is just its 2D clocks, but the core clock is also locked at 756 (~760 according to specs.) This doesn't change in 2D or 3D. From what I can tell, there are no 2D or 3D clocks. Is it supposed to be like that with these cards?

Does the 2300 MHz not kick in, or is it being read to me correctly just in a different format? I just want to make sure it's operating at the correct levels so I'm not missing any more performance.

Thanks, I figured it was operating correctly, just wasn't sure.

ATi Tray Tools had a mode where you could display the memory clocks as 2D or 3D clocks, so I got used to being able to see which is which.
