9800 GTX only 14k in 3Dmark?!?!?

3DM06 is only 1280x1024, also without AA and AF. Budget cards can get similar scores with oc, but testing 3DM06 in higher rez and with 4xAA, 16xAF, then you will see more real "in-game" differances.

^ yep, thats what I was going to say. A good many cards are closer in performance at 1280x1024, but at higher res and with the eye candy is what we should be looking at.

they redid the 9800gtx 3dmark06 run, this time with the qx9650 overclocked to 4ghz

still scores under 15k
