9800 GTS
128 SP units
Core 800MHz
Shaders 1750MHz
Memory 2000MHz
Mem-bus: 256-bit

And there will be 2048MB model (Well 9600 GT already has one)

Fake..or is there reason to believe these could be actually final clocks for ready 9800 GTS?
Well at least it would explain why 9800 GTS has that complex PCB. Should mean that 9800 GTX would have even higher clocks and explain where is needed those two pci-e powerconnectors, Huge cooler and more advanced power supply system than what 8800 Ultra had.

I see 256 bit.

I stay angry.

I will stay angry unless i see something less crippled.

I thought that 9800gtx was only going to be 675 core. That doesn't leave much room for 9800gts, however. Maybe we'll see 9800gts as +-700 core and gtx as +-800 and with gddr4 memory. That might make it worthwhile to look at them at least.

Well if these 9800 GTS specs are correct it would mean that final specs for commercially ready 9800 GTX would be something else than we have previously seen.

You know, I was wondering the same thing... I still hope the 9800GTX won't have a 256bit memory bus. I really don't think it needs two pci-e power connectors just from higher clocks. I think something else is going on. My 8800GTS does 900MHz with some added voltage(it did 800MHz on the stock cooler w/ stock vgpu). NV is usually pretty quiet about stuff. Time will tell...but I don't think they will dissapoint us(well too bad)...and then comes the R700...

Sentry2:
Actually there's not much choice.. those pics that we have seen from 9800 GTX (that aren't 9800 GTS or any card we have before seen..and utilize G92-420-A2) dictates that it has only 256-bit mem bandwith since it has only 8 memory chips.

This one uses G92-350-A2:
1) Exactly same core as seen on 8800 GT and GTS
2) That middle number dictates that this card slots between 8800 GT and 8800 GTS

So this is fake story..sorry :( could someone please remove this topic.

True, but have we seen pics of the back yet? If so....that sucks and I'll just buy a 9800GX2.

The more I look at that, the more I think that those specs would actually be very strong for the 9800gtx, esp if they really have fixed the AA/AF problem.

From the rumours, the G92-420 (GTX) can hit a maximum (aircooling/stock volts) ~850MHz on core, 2160MHz on shader and ~1188MHZ (2376MHz effective) on memory.

single card pre-test,

will finish dual-sli & tri-sli soon after.

9800GTX Spec:
vGPU=1.2v~1.21v idle, 1.26~1.27v load
vRam=2.0v

ambient=18c,GPU idle=35c,load=53c(100% fan speed)

overclking results summary:
1)Driver 174.20 might have some bug,3Dmark03 result 20% lower than normal,3Dmark05/06 ok.
2)heat same as 8800gts (better cooler but 0.02v vGPU higher)
3)GPU core overclking better (better PCB/PWM/Cooling)
4)vRam overclking better (0.8ns, better PCB/PWM)
5)perf_lvl same as 8800gts clk 2 clk. (only deafault clk higher)

Also, there is no 9800GT.

There will be :
9800GX2 ~$599
9800GTX ~$399
9800GTS ~$299
9600GT $169~199
