i changed the windows password in control panel and now it asks me to log on with a windows password every time i boot up...how do i get rid of this screen on bootup

ive deleted the pwl files but nothing...anyone?

You should be able to go into the control panel -> and the users function then turn it off from there.

Go to network control panels and change to Windows Family Logon I believe. Not exactly sure because I'm at work on a 2000 machine but something like that.
