You really don't need heat pipe since the NB/SB runs cool. The biggest difference with IP35 is RAID. Both are good value. I like to KISS. No RAID.
 
Note that the 1394 Firewire is very slow with the Abit IP35 Pro. Real world throughput speed is only 14.4MB/s. USB is okay at 30MB/s. I suspect IP35 will have the same issue.
