975X chipset and DDR speeds beyond 999MHz????

OK, since I'm not able to hit 1066MHz on my newly purchased Asus P5W DH Deluxe and Corsair Twin2x2048-8500C5, I posted on www.asktheramguy.com:

To my horrific surprise, according to "RAM GUY", P5W DH Deluxe is only able to run at 1066Hz DDR speeds.

I based my buying decisions (P5W DH and 8500C5) on reviews all over the net, that where able to hit speeds around 1100MHz

Ramguy is right...he's telling you that it can do 1066 because that's the highest rated speed. Anything more is out of warranty and not supposted by any means. There's never any gurantee either expressed or implied about this.
