I'm dabbling in overclocking my 9700Pro (built by ATI). I was wondering what is the best way to test for stability? I've run 3dmark, but it's not the best solution. There are many apps that test system stability (prime95, sisoft sandra) but I don't know of a definative stability software for video.

Just out of curiosity what is the fastest that this card has been pushed to here? I'd be interested in seeing 1st hand results from other users as to the speeds attained with stock cooling.
 
I don't know what the best overclock is but I can tell you the best way to check for instability. Run Unreal and let the castle flyby demo continue for 24 hours. If it makes it you're laughing. Unreal is great benchmark that stresses your CPU and videocard to its limits even though Unreal is 5 years old! Unreal works because it is very sensitive to overclocking.🙂
