lol yeah, probably i'll run at sm1.1 or 1.4 no sm3 is worthless to me. i just want to play some ut2k4, quake4(1024x768, medium-medium high) and hl2 in all it's dx9 glory(im running dx7mode right now)

That ain't gonna happen given the 9700 has more than double the memory bandwidth of a 6600. You can quote 3Dmark scores but in actual games you'll usually find the 9700 will be faster.how fast do I need to oc the 6600 to meet 9700pro speeds?
