9700 ramsinks???

I was thinking of geting ram sinks for my 9700pro, Which place would you get them from and which ones? I saw svc had some. Also i guess i need 8 of these for the front and back 4 chips. Lastley how high coul i oc my thing with these sinks on. BTW i want to keep it at the spped i get and not just for benchmarks

I also saw this guy selling them but how do these compare to the svc ones?

For what it's worth, I have a 9500>hacked to 9700 with the notoriously crappy 3.3ns Infineon. 297Mhz artifact free after an hour or so was as far as I would trust it. I fragged taped some ram sinks I made by cutting some old ram sinks in half to make BGA ramsinks out of them, nothing special, but I am able to run 308MHz rock stable no artifacts ever.

So I would suspect it will raise your ceiling nearly as much.

(then used AS3 thermal adheasive)

Yeah I'd probably go with something like the Alpha wingfin ones over those ones you linked FFactory0x. The price sure is right on those you mentioned, but they don't seem to have very much surface area at all - the BGA ones have only 3 main folds in it. They will still do a much better job than nothing, however...

I have sinks similar to the ones you linked, but If I had it to do over again, I'd get the OCZ BGA Ramsinks at SVC.

Those are the ones I have. They gave me excellent results: 387MHz max (zero artifact operation) on 3.3ns Samsung!!!

I just use some large, generic chipset heatsinks from Radio Shack with thermal tape. Works fine for me.
