hello fellows .... am bitten the the upgrade bug for the longest time ...... but have my current rig for almost 6 months and not compelled to upgrade my vid card ...there have been a lot of new releases in the vid card area but am very contend with 9700 pro....very soon will be updating the the rig to a A64 3000+ or 3400+ but am keeping the 9700 .....any thoughts ?

No reason to upgrade that card whatsoever. Keep using it until you notice that it cant handle a game you enjoy playing in the future. Then you should consider an upgrade.
 
Give it a couple more years than sell it for $80! Im just about to get a 9700 Pro after I receive some money from a couple of deals I just made here. Should have the card by next weekend!
