Im running a new tyan radeon 9700 pro I installed the newest drivers, omega drivers ect. ect. all get the same results. Every time i restart my computer i have to re-adjust my resolution it defaults back to 640x480.
I have the newest VIA drivers, monitor driver is installed and reinstalled .
I tried unchecking the dcc tab in the advanced video properties...
Ive tried reforce refresh fix.....Nothing works....

Please dont tell me to reformat. "Thats what I tell people when I dont have a clue whats wrong"

Please help guys ....

And I hate to say it, but - format. It sounds like in your driver-orgy you probably put enough conflicts in there to gag an elephant. :p

Are you running an NT based system? If you so try setting your account to have administrator privileges.

Also if you had a previous video card then you need to make sure you remove all traces of its drivers and software, especially refresh rate forcing programs.
