9700 Pro vs. Ti 4xxx with HDTV out

Is anyone willing to share their experiences with TV out? I?m in the process of buying components for a new system, which I intend to connect to my 32? HDTV. I?m looking for a new graphics card that will perform well under this circumstance. My real concern isn't so much frames per second as it is picture quality. I intend to use this machine for gaming and work so having resolutions that satisfy both would be required. I was looking at the Radeon 9700 Pro or GeForce Ti 4xxx models, but I?m open to new suggestions. Any feedback on a recommended card to accomplish this task would be appreciated.

Here?s the core layout of my future system.

AMD XP 2200+
Asus A7V8X
Samsung/Corsair DDR333
Antec 1080 AMG 430W

ATi has always had higher quality TV-out than Nvidia cards so I assume the 9700 is no different.

I was under that same impression. I also understand that ATI sells an HDTV component video adaptor for some of their other cards. I don't know if it will be compatible with the 9700 Pro though.
