9700 Pro power connector?

Got a bare 9700 Pro, but no power connector. The card can't work. Can someone help me find such cable? Thanks a lot!

Is it a standard 4-pin molex connector like the one on the V5's? Or is it one of those 3 or 4 pin to 4-pin molex connectors that connect HSF's to motherboards or video cards? A molex connector is the type you see coming out of your PSU and connecting to IDE peripherals like HDD's and CD/DVD drives.

In any case, you can pick up every possible type of these connectors (Male/Male, Female/Male, Female/Female, Y-Adapter M/F, etc. etc. you get the idea) at your local Radio Shack

Just bring your card in or take a visual picture of what the connector is supposed to look like so you know what to buy, otherwise you'll have a bunch of plastic baggies with different types of connectors like me

Edit: Yep its just a floppy connector. If your PSU has an extra floppy connector (most 400W and above have 2 or more), just plug it into the card. If not, go to Radio Shack and pick up a Y-splitter from Molex (big head, 6 sided, 4 pin) male ------> 1 molex female and 1 4-pin floppy female. If you have a spare molex connector from your PSU, you can just pick up a molex male to floppy female.

hmmmmmmm, I have a semi-related question.
anyone know if the 9700 non-pro will need the extra power connection? what about either 9500?

9700- probably

9500/pro- probably not, but possibly for the pro.

9700 will have the same memory substructure with all the mem controllers that the pro has, which sucks up all that extra juice. The 9700 is just clocked a bit slower than the pro.

9500/pro have half of the mem controllers, but the pro is at similar clocks to the 9700's. The 9500pro may have a few extra capacitors for voltage regulation and may draw more power from the AGP port, but I doubt it'll need an extra power source like the 9700's.
