9700 Pro or All In Wonder?

Well, I am thinking of buying a new computer. I've been looking at the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro and its All In Wonder version. The 9700 Pro has caught my eye because of its power and the fact that when I buy my computer it will probably be cheaper with the 9800 coming out soon. Dilema is that I can't pick between the two versions of the 9700 Pro. The TV tuner deal on the AIW does look really cool, and I think I would use it, but does the AIW still run on the same components as the Pro version? I guess if someone would give me any experience with either card, or some pros and cons of both.

the Pro and the AIW will perform exactly the same

the only thing different is the additional features

I had heard that there were some things that the AIW couldn't do compared to the Pro. Like, what about dual monitors? I don't really now if I'll ever be able to utilize it anywase, but support for dual monitors is something I am interested in.
With the AIW's video capabilities, do you need an additional TV tuner to get things like picture-in-picture?

The AIW 9700 Pro cannot run dual monitors... well kinda... it has to use a TV or HDTV as the second monitor.

you can always use a seperate pci card to run the second monitor though, as with any agp card.

adding a TV wonder series card from ATI will give you some extra features when watching TV, you can watch one channel while recording another, etc. PiP is probably a feature by adding a a TV Wonder too.

You could get a 9700 pro card and a tv capture card for about the same price as the AIW. TV capture and dual monitors!!

go for the all in wonder. i can't live without mine. I have it hooked to my tv. So i can now watch all my movies i download or play a game on the tv with my wireless keyboard and mouse, also i can now get a better view of ppt presentations before i have to do them in front of classes. Once you go aiw you will never go back
