Out of the 9700 Pro's currently on sale at EBay, which one would you choose? I've never used EBay before, and I'm not that up-to-date on the hardware front, so I need some advice, especially given the difference in pricing.

Must ship to Europe (Sweden).

Any 9700 Pro with 128 mb, 256 bit memory are pretty equal. Just scroll down and find one that ships worldwide and you'll be fine. Should cost you about 120.00$ Don't buy the "All IN Wonder Card"

Okay. Well, even with the shipping, import tax (probably the same as the sales tax; 25%) and EBay fees, I bet it's still going to be cheaper than the $500 I'd have to pay for one over here.

Anything regarding the sellers as such I should watch out for, conversely look for?

o yea, got it on ebay ;) Try to bid on an item, where you see the actual product, not a representation photo.

What's the easiest way to tell them apart? Except when they're placed on a hallway carpet, of course. :
Maybe some try to trick you into believing it's a real photo...

Do you know how to check a seller's feedback? Every Ebay listing shows a percentage of total sale positive feedback. If its not 100% positive, read his feedbacks and find out why. Its up to you ultimately to take the Ebay risk. Yes, there are risks. Too many to list.

I doubt people are trying to TRICK you, just look at the pic, and see if it includes what they say it will in their description.

And there is some form of compensation if I don't get what I order, right, since that would be fraud? I think I read something about that in the Help section. That's usually the way it is when you buy and sell things.

If you get a defective and or non-working product that doesn't matchup with the product you were supposed to get, as described, contact the seller, and demand a refund. If he gives you the runaround, you contact ebay, and they'll take it from there. Generally tho, most people on ebay are genuine sellers, and they aren't trying to rip anyone off.

And as long as it says Pro without anything else suspicious, it should be the full 8 pipelines, correct?

Indeed. Though it only ships to the US...thanks for the tip anyhow. :)

keysplayr: I know I sound a bit shaky, but I'm just trying to speed-learn about these things. ;)
