9700 Pro DVI+flat panel question

I have a flat panel monitor but it is in the CRT connector form now I use the CRT->DVI converter on my flat panel to run the monitor. Is this a better way? Or doesn't make a difference.
 
really? didn't know it made a difference between using the CRT connection or using the DVI converted to CRT.
 
Well finer and brighter I'd say cured, if there was flickering it might've cure that too. But finer detail for sure.
