9700 pro availabilty?

where can I find the 9700 pro, new in-stock, online? i know allstarshop has it but its $163 and out of stock. if it should be discountinued than how is allstarshop carrying them new and places like newegg arent?

PS. a few months ago I saw a 5800Ultra on sale at newegg, it was cheap and suposedly discontinued, why do these "discontinued" cards keep showing up and what are the chances of me finding a good deal on a 9700 pro?
 
when thet become discontinued i would assume the retaillers try to sell what they had in stock..... and maybe the site doesnt remove the item form the site so, it shows there are zero of them but it still shwos teh item....
