I have a Crucial 9700 Pro 128 card and Asus P4C800 Deluxe motherboard. I need to be able to run the card at 1600*200 . When i try to use drivers later than Catalyst 3.0 i have problems with the screen at that resolution. Every time i start using D3D application ( game or 3Dmark ) screen seems to go blank and comes back, as if i have my finger on the power button for the screen. Picture goes off every other second and comes back. Im using a 21" TFT Panel. The reason i have this screen is it supports that resolution, and not being able to use it with the latest drivers is annoying . I can however use the Catalyst 3.0 drivers with no problems. Is there anything i can do to tweak the settings so i can make it work with the latest drivers or shall i just forget the whole thing and carry on with the Catalyst 3.0?
