9700 pro and Sim City 4

Hey, just buily a new system with a ATI 9700 pro and i've heard there were orginally problems with ATI and SimCity 4 did they ever fix this problem??? thanks for your help..

 
No, they haven't and never will. Apparently there's a hardware limitation of some kind with RADEONS when running SimCity 4.:frown:
 
The problem is fixable via a patch to sim city4, not sure if theyve made one though.
Or,
You could just edit the sim city 4 config files, and change the right setting.
Dunno what the setting is though.
