9700 PRO and lock ups

hello fellows .... I was getting a lot of lock ups during games (call of duty, UT2003, MOHAA etc ) ...... tried all CAT drivers .... as it turned out the culprit was the PSU ( had a generic 350W PSU ) ....replaced it with enermax 460W psu and it works like a charm ... have been using it for a week and run games with every thing maxed out with 6XAA and 16X Aniso and get 60+ FPS ....hope it helps anybody

Nice post. MAME, I would recommend you a Tt Butterfly purepower 480W PS, it rocks.

Why thank you Mc. I forgot to add that I'd like to spend $90 or less, and a 480W ps sounds expensive 🙁

I'd also prefer to get a case that comes with the power supply.

Do you have any other suggestions?

hehehe. It costed me 104? here in europe so I believe it should be somewhat cheaper in USA. Anyway if you want both case and PSU for $90 I can't help as I don't live in USA, but sure somebody can in cases&cooling forums. Hope this helps you 😉
