9700 non-pro, Games keep kicking me out to Windows

I play tested my games in 1024x768 32 bit, 16 bit 800x600 32bit, 16bit. For some unknown reason, I was kicked back to windows everytime I played the games for a few minutes (Neverwinter, MOHAA, Jedi Outcast), or sometimes the monitor turn into blue colour and the computer doesn't respond at all. They were the only games I installed in my new rig.

My 9700 NP driver is catalyst 03.1

Could it be the Open GL/Direct 3D settings? Or is it a faulty card?
