9700 name brand, any different?

I want a 9700 pro, is it worth me paying 30 or 40 extra quid to get a hercules or will i not notice any difference between that and the 'generic' board Thanks

After trying (for sales) more than 25 9700 Pro samples since August 2002 from ATI original, ATI OEM, Gigabyte, Sapphire, to Creative, I can tell you there is ABSOLUTELY no difference. All these crads use the same components, the same rated Samsung RAM and follow the reference design. it's pure luck to get a high overclocking 9700 Pro. Buy the cheapest one you can get, and hope for the best.
