Just a quick question that I am getting conflicted info on. I have an EVGA X58 LE mobo...will an i7-970 work in this board? Dats it..quick an easy...I hope.
 
Just wanting to clarify here. Intel i7-970 CPU in an EVGA X58 SLi LE motherboard. Compatible yes?

Just got the cpu, popped er in the board, now...no post. So I just want to make sure 100% that they should work together. ...I am 99% sure the answer is yes but, never hurts to ask.
