have a technician look over it to make sure there's no major problems.

I was in the car with him today. It was pretty good a drive and the owner said he will get some body work done and change the belts.

He has almost new tired, new brakes and new oil change. I was suggesting a small tune up on the engine for the car when he gets it.

What trim level is the Camry? What options does it have? 4 or 6 cylinder? Any rust?

4 cylinder EFI engine. There are no rust as far as I see.

if you look around you can probably get a 96 v6 one for only a little more than that. the 97 one was a first year model. fugly in my opinion even compared to the year before.
