I think about 6mths ago the light came on and i self depressed that button to get rid of it. Now, its come on again so i think maybe there really is something that needs done. Usually what does that light mean..like what parts of the car is it specifically telling u theres a problem with? Just so i have an idea..

i don't drive the car that much, mainly only weekends since i ride the train to/fro work. I did notice that these days when i brake i feel a little mild stuttering at my foot pedal...maybe it needs brake work?

Ive got a 96 integra. The light comes on automatically every 5000 miles or so to tell you that you need an oil change or other scehduled maintanence.

The light it probably tied to your odometer - needs to be reset at every oil change, as it's set to go off at normal oil change intervals.

LMFAO at brake work, that must be one magic light!

It's called a check engine light so it's likely some part of the engine. however it could also be O2 sensors in the exhaust/cat. You need to have someone read the code for you to find out what's wrong

Could be simple, could be expensive. I'm guessing not too expensive, it's an Integra.

Is it the Check Engine Light or the Maintenance Light? If it's CEL, go to Autozone, they'll lend you an OBD II code reader to read error code for free.

It comes on and stays on every 7,500 miles or so. Just reset it.
