Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a used 9700PRO cheaper than that? I don't even think a 9800PRO is much more than $135.

Sorry to rain on the parade, it's just I think a 9600XT is only worth $100 or so.

I agree with you but some people only like brand new stuff and this is that. Most 9600 XT's are ussually 150 or so, so this isn't THAT bad.

You can also get the softmoddable 9800SE (to Pro) for about $120.

Both deals are great (129 and 134 dollars), personally I'd buy a softmoddable SE, just like the one I've got, for around 144$ from newegg (the one that comes with 256bit memory and 9800Pro stock speed), and even if the softmod fails, you'll get a card faster than that 9600XT (256bit memory)
