9600XT Score on 3DMark05

Hi, I was wondering if anybody could tell me if there is something wrong with my video. Recently I dled 3DMark05 to test out my 9600XT because it didn't seem to be performing that well on Sims 2. Choppy at times and a little bit of lag when I am playing. I dled new drivers for my 9600XT and then ran the test. I got a score of 820. I went to the compare page to compare my score with other people with about the same computer specs that I have. The people listed on the compare page got scores of 1322 to 1653. I currently have 512mb of PC3200 ram from Crucial, P4 2.4c HT, Abit IS7-E mobo, and of course an ATI 9600XT video card. I hope this is enough information. Thanks for the help in advance.

I also forgot, during one testing run I got an "out of memory" error and the test didn't finish, on the second try the test finished.
