I installed the latest drivers to a new setup and I was wondering anyone using XP and what does it say about thier video cards? Especially the new ATI cards 3dmark2003 says that the video card (as is in mine) is a 9600 series? While my 9500Pro actually says 9500pro, just wondering because the 3dmark2003 score just didn't look good but it was it's first run.

I downloaded the latest drivers just lastnight from ATI, so I was wondering, anyone else have a 9600pro feel like sharing?

setup
Jetway miniq760 nforce2 MB
ATI 9600Pro
2X256 ocz pc2700
XP2100+
40gb 7200 drive

My 9500Pro says it's a 9700Pro in the advance settings. I have flashed the bios to get a 360/300 core/memory overclock though.

well thanks for the info glad to hear I'm not the only one, I was getting worried that it was just a 9600.

how do I do that? Software?DXdiag?Directx says internal DAC 500mhz? so I'm ok I guess. 😀

3dmark2003 score 3301 anyone else have numbers?

3397 with
ATI RADEON 9600 Series
398 MHz / 297 MHz
3710 with
ATI RADEON 9600 Series
473 MHz / 297 MHz

but i have 460 ish and 330ish now....iono the scores, i did break 4000s when i tried maxing it out but that was near 490 and 340
i cant get near those high numbers everyone else can

Well I used the latest power strip and saw that the setting on the card but it's default are 400\300 that is rounded. I know I'm new at this but when it says engin and memory being 400\600 on the site but other tools tell me differently I'm wondering if I just don't understand or ATI lied? It's running at half the memory speed.
