9600 Pro 400/400 core/ram for $148!

That is misleading since they list there other cards that way and it refers to actual clock speed and not DDR equiv. Most likely it is DDR equiv at that price. I guess it was too good to be true.

Yup, you have to watch out for some of the 9600pro EZ or LITE versions. They are clocked 400/200 and the ? ?effective?? bandwidth 200 DDR (x2) = 400 is the number being quoted. Gigacube makes a LITE 9600pro clocked 400/200 and PowerColor has a 9600pro EZ 400/200.

The Sapphire 9600pro is around $150 and is clocked 400/300 and would be a much better choice.
