9600 Gt Question

Hey i see most reviews of the 9600 gt are on x38 mobo. What I want to know is on a p35 mobo how much of an improvement would a 9600 gt be over a 8600 gts? Would upgrading be significant upgrade or not that much improvement?

Substantial. I went to an 8800GT from an overclocked 8600GTS and the difference was unbelievable. The 9600GT is just slightly behind the 8800GT.

The motherboard plays almost no role in videocard performance.
