What can I Overclock this thing too? I heard they OC really good so I was just wondering

Many seems to have overclocked their GSO to around the levels of an 8800/9800 GT factory overclocked card, meaning around 650-750MHz. Your EXACT numbers may vary.

Mine does 700 core and 1000 memory. (EVGA dual slot) I got it from newegg on the 36.00 deal and I got the rebate back today- just under a month. Smokin deal for 36.00. BTW, OC the memory to the bleeding edge makes a big difference on this card.

i've been running mine at 752/1880/1083 for the last 1 and half month. brought my 8800gs back in march 2008 when it was a "SMOKING HOT" deal for $115 after MIR.

it's the EVGA with stock everything.

I have two running 702/1728/1000 that crunch F@H 24/7.

And I just got back my $40 rebate today also! They must mail checks in batches or something.

EVGA 8800GS OC running at 747/1760/2120. Anything higher gives artifacts.

Forget artifacts, test using 3DMark 2001. It "freezes up" the video driver, at anything around or over 650. I had to downclock my friend's card to 600/1000.

I'm willing to bet that 100% of you guys that are running 700MHz core or higher have never tested thoroughly with 3DMark2001.

And just why would I need to subject it to a benchmark stress test? I use my two for F@H crunching 24/7 and they perform with complete stability and moderate temps.
