9600 cards and Windows Delayed errors??? ??? ????????

Vette73

Lifer
I ahve put 2 different 9600pro cards in my Abit NF7-S system. Both times I get this error to pop up....

Windows Delayed Write Failed
Windows was unable to save data for File C:\$Mft

I tried the 3.7, 3.8, and current Omega drivers and still the same. I upped the voltage to 1.6, and even set the card at AGP 4X, still same error. But when I put in my old 8500 or even a TNT2 Vanta my system works great.

Anybody know what I can do??????

well the last card was a retail 8500, but even then I uninstalled all the card and drivers before I put in the Omega ones. Then I put in a Vanta card and it also works.

Kinda lost to what it couls be?

control panel, system, advanced, performance settings, advanced, memory usage set to programs.ATI support page

Fixed the problem for me I was getting that occasionaly with a 9500Pro. Haven't ever since I did that. I even formated the hard drive thinking it would fix it. But it
didn't for me until large system cache was disabled.

Run a driver cleaner then reinstall the video card drivers.

Did that and put on the new 3.9 Omega drivers and still the same thing. I even unplugged my DVD-Rom and CD-RW to free up some power, but still same thing. ???
