I've needed older versions of 95 CDs for many different reasons before and now I'm ready to complete my OS library (For tech support).
This is the way I've always known it to be:
Windows 95 A = Original version (All upgrade copies were version A)
Windows 95 B = Added FAT32 support for larger partitions and smaller cluster sizes
Windows 95 C = Added USB support in addition to version B's improvements
Now, I thought all along that "OSR2" (OEM Service Release right?) was Win95B. But now I don't think so. If it's not, then what is? My reason for not thinking so? I dug up a "Windows 95 with USB support" CD and it's readme file is dated August '96... The same as Windows 95 B (Unless someone at work mis-labeled a CD-R). I didn't think that 95C was released until much later anyway, so something's messed up (But I checked a real 95+USB CD, so August '96 must be right!). Anyone here with an old MSDN subscription?
