9500NP 128 vs Ti4800SE 128mb

anomaly

The NP is 139 shipped, and the Ti is 141 shipped. Which will perform better? I will be playing BF1942 almost exclusively with it. Once HL2/D3 come out, I will be upgrading the card again.

I am using a 4600 Ti atm and play BF1942 all the time. Works great and I even know for a fact the 9000 series is problamatic with BF1942 and other games.

After I dropped my waterblock on my Ti200 GF3 and sent it to electronic heaven, I decided to buy another NVIDIA card (choice was hard though). I picked the Gainward Ti4800SE as I could get it for $158 with shipping from googlegear and the card has VIVO (which is just an added bonus for me).

Anyway with stock heatsink and ramsinks, its running stable at 331/661 and I just haven't tested any settings between this and 345/695 (highest Rivatuner setting before warning) and it failed here.
