9500 saphire - softmod 100% so can I hardmod

Quick question, My saphire 9500 took the software driver mod with no artifacts and double the score in 3dmark 2003.
Does that mean I can do a hardware mod and get the same result?
Reason I want the hardware mod is because I want to be able to use the latest ati drivers.

Yep, the hardware mod is exactly the same as the software mod.
