9500 > 9700 tweaking card

I have ati oem 9500 (newegg) installed the rad_w2kxp_omega_2474
check the hack install , all's good picture quality, refresh rate is 60hz (lcd monitor)
it my scores:

3dMark 2001 SE Pro
Single - 1570.3
Multi - 2189.4
Overall score - 14723 was in 12500~ range before omega drivers

3dMark 03
Single - 1327.8
Multi - 2013.3
Overall score - 4467

I have not o/c the card not sure what the correct combo is, also never o/c video cards before just cpu's.

I o/c to 325/310 the checkerboard appear ... set it back to stock all gone( no checkerboard)
how do i achieve, derive the right combo for a checkerboard less o/c

What can I do to improve this card?
