950 Athlon socket A hsf SAME as the TAISOL733092?

I recently checked out my retail 950 hsf and the braces that lock the hsf to the socket had TAISOL engraved on it.

Are these two hsf the same?????
Better not be cuz i ordered a couple of taisols yesterday...but checked the hsf on my computer today!

Well the one i got had a different something...not sure...hehe...
the fan covers the whole heatsink..where as my fan just covers 5/6 of the heat sink....meaning...either it's a smaller heat sink .. or it's a bigger fan...i guess...


why didn't they freakin tell consumers that it's the retail fan...
get me so pissed....grrrr...

My retail T-bird 900 included a Taisol 34092 H/S and fan.

the taisol people i emailed said they didn't know WHO AMD USED for the retail hsf...what a big lie!!!!!

So...i'll have to return it now...and they'll make me pay shipping...sucks...

amd is smart, they must get them sooo cheap from taisol, since tiasol sells em for 8 or 11 bucks amd must get em for like 2 or 3 bucks. and these are pretty good

Losty, since they are such good heat sinks, you could probably put them on the For Sale/Trade forum and sell them to someone here rather than having to deal with the hassle of returning them to Taisol...

Well, DaYooper just put together a group buy for 100 of them and they were pretty much taken within the first day or two, and as more people learn how good they can be (those of us who didn't get one as the stock HSF with our CPU) there will be more who want to buy them...
