Nah, it's not too bad out there.

It's not even hot out if there are only two, measly digits in the temperature.

You guys who are complaing are a bunch of pvssies. :p

Edit: I actually sat outside and read a book on my lunch hour.
I wonder how you'd react to winters when the highs are sometimes in the single digits. Some of us are cold weather people and some of us are warm weather people. Personally, I would prefer a temperature of 15-20 degrees to a temperature of 90 degrees any day. Heck, I'd prefer 15 degrees to 85 here when it gets humid (like 95%, which is more often than I'd like).

I go to Reno for college, it gets down below the 20s at times, it's not too bad, just in the mornings. I just wear a jacket.

It's not so bad here now, and in fact it's going to get cooler this weekend - but the other day the high was 97, and (I don't know if they do this in other places or not) because of the high humidity, it might as well have been 100+. Heat index was 110, if I remember correctly.

I don't mind heat; so long as it's not so humid that it feels like you're breathing through a sponge. Cold doesn't bother me much either; it's the dark, cloudy, grey days in winter moreso than the temperature itself that gets to me :(. Damn SAD.

Still sitting at 102ºF in Clackamas.

It's also 102ºF at PDX.

The record for today was only 99.

It happened last year. We've had some pretty warm streches the last few summers.

I just can NOT take any temps 80ish or above.

Are you kidding me?

You think above 78 degrees is hot?

I'm not messing with you, but I am asking to be serious.

I don't 'think' it's hot, for me, it IS hot. Everyone has different thermal thresholds. Above mid 70's I get very VERY angry. By mid 80's I'd just as soon kill someone as look at em. I use to bite the head off my Lt in the navy when it got over 80 (which in virginia is a LOT of the time). They finally just started having me do most of my work at night, cause they knew during they day I was beyond myself.

Conversely, I often wear shorts in the 30's and 40's, and maintain a very comfortable temperature, where most people I know whine like little girls if it falls below 60. *shrug* to each their own I guess.

When I lived in Phoenix it was 104 degrees...at 3AM in the summer! 115+ was normal. As soon as you walk outside instant headache.

It's been freezing all summer in Chicagoland... only 1 day over 90... it's like 65 now. Been like this all summer, it sucks.

Sounds like a perfect summer to me. But I'm a cold weather person.

I'm the exact same way. I would much rather be cold than hot any day of the week.

80 is pushing it...

I'd love to have a summer home in Alaska...

59 degrees here in Denver at the moment. Haven't had a lot of really hot days out here.

My taste in temperature depends on my mood; for just sitting around, between 50 and 90 is comfy. Below that I might put on a sweater. But above 90--especially when it's 100 or more--is great for biking. I love biking in the heat and, amazingly, nobody else does, so I have the trails to myself.
