Anyone here own one of these cars or know anything about them???

About 95% sure I'm going to pick one up tomorrow... $3495 with only 44K miles...

Just want some opinions on this car, its in pretty damn good condition...
 
i have a '90 mazda protege
bought it new in Nov '89

it has ~165K miles, the engine still runs fine

the A/C died a couple years ago

the only major work i have had to do is replace the front CV joints/half axles, that was several year ago, at around 80K miles , i think

very good car, for its size/type

still gets decent gas mileage

good car, oh its been in 3 minor wrecks, but is still running strong, hope to run it many more years until the engine or tranny blows
 
yeah, this car was in a minor accident involving a deer, but all that needed to be replaced was the right front panel and the hood... but they match perfectly with the car, i wouldn't have noticed a thing if the guy that rebuilt it didn't tell me...
