95 Accord Power Windows Problems

I have a friend who has a 95 Honda Accord that has Power Window problems. The rear passenger windows is non-operation (from the "master control" driver panel yet it works in the back. However, it goes down from the rear switch w/o any problems but it won't go back up at all. I managed to get it back up by "bamping" the door panel and it worked. after extenstive workout.

Also it occurs on the front driver side window and it is intermittion. (eg sometimes, it works something it doesn't). All this led me to believe that it something electric (no duh.) Anyone experience this problem before.

So far it occurs w/ front driver side window and the rear passenger side windo w (Thank god). So in a nutshell he avoids using this PW since it iffy if it will go back up. He was wondering it this can be a Do it yourself job (DIY). since summer is coming very soon. If not, where in the Bay Area (he lives in SJ) can you go to have this fix. beside the dealership.

Had the same exact problem in our '95 Accord as well, except it was the driver-side window switch not operation the driver-side window.
So my problem was worse than yours because at least you have a backup switch (in the rear) to close/open the passenger window.
It was an intermittent problem as well.

What I did was I unscrewed the entire control pod on the armrest. Disconnected it from the harness and blew the dust/dirt out of it, and let it sit for a few hours (I thought mine got wet from moisture).

Popped it back in and it's been doing fine ever since - but we no longer have the car so I can't tell you how it's doing now.
