I have been using this legacy driver till now. When I try to update the drivers or try installing new drivers for 9400 GT, the installer saying no compatible hardware found. This was not a problem till I installed windows 8 release preview 32 bit on June 1st. And then I installed my good old 7.15.11.6932 driver, it looked fine until I found out that driver had made my metro start screen blank, completely blank only the background appears. I happen to record this using problem steps recorder http://sdrv.ms/L7K7MS
Now I am switching between driver and no driver for functioning, some functions are better with the driver installed and some are with driver uninstalled. I install and uninstall my driver 3/4 times a day.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this as I came across this website just now and registered to open this thread, if this isn't I apologize. I tried TechNet and Microsoft answers.
