A lifetime .288 hitter and two-time Negro League batting champion...
this is more of a gimmick to help get him into the Hall of Fame ....
This will make him the oldest professional ball player of all time

It is a shame that Buck hasn't been admitted to the HoF years ago.

I love the commentary. You actually went through the trouble of explaining is subpar stats and had to explan it's a "gimmick." Talk about bitter. No kidding genius. He's 94 years old. We get what's going on. Good for him.

I have met Buck O'Neil several times. He is a personal friend of my friend. I also have an autographed bat in my office.

It was a travesty that he was snubbed admission to the HoF, especially since they NOW want him to deliver an address to all the inductees.
