939 cores running different temp?

night

Have this old beast thrown together for a minecraft and media server. Have it bumped from 2.6 to 3ghz on stock voltage and has been burning Prime for a while now... but.. one core is running 15* hotter O.O.

I don't know what to make of that at all. 50/51 and 65/66. All I've read says you don't want these chips over 60, but beyond my fresh install of AS5 and a Thermaltake Big Typhoon sitting on top of it I am at a loss...

I have checked to make sure the sink isn't at an angle. There has always been an 8* difference just checking periodically at idle and mild load. With the stock cooler.
Am I going to have to delid this thing?

I have a 939 that I still use sometimes just checked the cores stay within a couple of degrees of each other (using Everest). What are you using to check temps?

Core Temp in windors and sensors command in linux. Don't remember if they show the same numbers, but they are showing the same split.
