Could someone who knows for a fact or experience share with us the compatability issue with the new 939 boards and hard drive corruption. I have read in some instances that ports 1 and 2 on msi boards cause you to lose you info on your hd. Don't know about any of the other boards.
Secondly, if you chose pata does that make a difference? Is pata as efficent as sata?
Was planning on getting a raptor (10,000) for operating system and progams and another sata drive for storage.... want to be sure before I start shelling out the dough....
