939 64bit Semprons rain from the heavens!

The new Compaq R4000 laptops sport socket 939 architecture. I was previously under the impression that the semprons were still going to be socket 754. To my surprise, these new laptops are actually shipping with 939 accross the board. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to tell which version you have. CPU-Z reports a Winchester core in a 939 package with 64bit enabled. It doesn't report the speed correctly either. CrystalCPUID reports a Palermo core but in socket 754. It reports the speed and stepping correctly so that you think that is what you have. Well, tear open the R4000 and look at the dang thing! Turns out that I have a socket 939 Sempron 3000+ with 64bit extensions. That isn't the exiting part. The exiting part is knowing I can tweak and reconfigure this thing with newer/better chips (maybe dual core). This thing was $425 bucks after rebates, so you know why I am glad to see something good or slightly unexpected come out of it. I have pictures to some degree but am looking for a place to post them.
